Battalion (Townsfolk) By Ellie (silverrzz)

Overview
The Battalion flips the game on its head. An informed majority vs an informed minority.
If the evil team work out whats going on, the demon can kill themself and win the game immediately.
The good team need to carefully coordinate their lies and engineer a believable win for the evil team in order to come out on top.

Examples
- The set of good Battalion perfectly coordinate their bluffs and successfully hide from the evil team. In the final 3 they execute a good player and win the game.
- The set of good Battalion are careless and end up with excessive double claims and mismatching information, and the evil team catches wind. Tonight the demon chooses themself and wins the game.
- A non-battalion group of good players purposefully mismatch their claims and produce chaotic information. The evil team believes it to be a Battalion game. Tonight the demon chooses themself and loses the game.

How To Run
If the Battalion is in play, remove all other good characters, even outsiders.
On the first night, wake each Battalion one-by-one and show them the rest of the good team.
When creating scripts with this character, be careful with characters that confirm themself to the evil team, for example: Lunatic, Poppy Grower, Magician are all confirmed to be NOT Battalion during evil info. Or, a Sailor surviving execution, a virgin executing a player etc all confirm that it is NOT a Battalion game. Confirming non-Battalion to evil is not the worst thing ever, but it takes away part of the spirit of bluffing a Battalion game as good, when its really not.

Tip
If you`re playing as the Battalion, keep in mind that the evil team knows 3 not-in-play characters through the demon bluffs, try your best to not step into that territory as best you can!
When playing as evil, try to spot information which is unexplainably incorrect, the good team does know who is evil, but they don`t know who are minions and who is the demon!
If you`re running a script with Battalion on it, respect the evil win-condition and keep the game going until only 2 players live. This gives evil a bit of extra time to work out what the game state is.
