The Faction Leader is a powerful information character that can crack open worlds and find out exactly who is who.A demon checked by the Faction Leader who learnt they are not a Minion will have no fear if the evil Demon tries to claim Goblin. It allows precise world building and an easy dismissal of solutions submitted by the evil team.
The Faction Leader can clear good players by the masses if they are on the backfoot. The Storyteller has agency over what character types are shown, and if needed, the Faction Leader can clear many players from being demon candidates very quickly.
